Fun Online Resources

Online resources to keep everyone in the family active

There are lots of different activities you can do at home to stay fit and healthy. Here are our recommended online resources that will keep you active, healthy and happy... all at the same time!

Cosmic Kids Yoga is a YouTube based physical activity as well as mindfulness training – it is a low-medium intensity activity and children in Reception/KS1 and lower KS2 have used this in class. Each yoga move has a story or theme alongside it to make it even more fun to do.

Cybercoach has lots of fun workouts to try- from Tai Chi, funky/street dance, marine combat and Bollywood cheerleading to name a few. Cybercoach will certainly teach your child a thing or two about different dance styles and martial art workouts! See your child’s Google Classroom/Class Dojo page for the login details for this resource.

Go Noodle has some energising dance videos to follow and dance to. There are also some great mindfulness videos that will help children to manage their energy and emotions.

The Youth Sport Trust have restarted their after-school sports club. They run every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm. Each week there will be a different focus- Tuesdays will introduce a new skill, and Thursdays will involve a sports-specific session.
