Each year at the start of December there is a Christmas Tree Festival at the church in Hucknall.  Thousands of people visit the church to look at the Christmas Trees which have been decorated by different groups, schools and charities in Hucknall.  This event raises thousands of pounds for local charities and is a really wonderful event in the annual calendar.  To support this event, we decorate our own tree and pay to include it in the competition.  We also spend a day at the festival singing carols and songs from our Nativities.  Our singing is received really warmly by the visitors to the festival and allows us to share the real importance of Christmas with our local community.
