Times of the School Day

8.40am - school starts and pupils enter school.

Morning break times vary for individual year groups.

11.30am - 12.30pm - EYFS lunchtime (including hot meal provision)

12:00pm - 1:00pm - Year 1 - Year 6 lunchtime (including hot meal provision)

Afternoon breaktimes vary for EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2.

2.45pm - Collective Worship (times may vary)

3.15pm - end of the school day and pupils are collected from school.

It is the responsibility of parents and carers to supervise their children before and after these times.

Breakfast Club

We have a free, on-site breakfast club that runs from 8.10am to 8.40am. This is part of a Government initiative and Hucknall National Primary School is one of the early adopters of this scheme. There is an online booking system to secure a free place via the school office.

Hucknall National Out of School Club

Wraparound care is available on site through the Hucknall National Out of School Club. This is a wonderful service run by a local charity and operated on site at the school. 

The club runs for 50 weeks of the year and so through the school holidays too.

The club operates from 7.30am and your child will be taken to their classroom by the staff.

After school, children can be taken to the club which then runs until 6pm.
