However, we would much rather give you a personal tour of the school and during the school day, if you are able to. This gives you the opportunity to have an in depth discussion with the headteacher or a senior leader and ask any questions that are personal to you and your child, rather than in a large group setting. It also gives you the chance to see our amazing students in action - our school is not quite the same without our children being here! If you would like a tour with the headteacher, please contact the school office. You are welcome to attend a personal tour and the open evenings and can come for a look round as many times as you would like.

Changing School in-year
An in-year application is for children requiring a school place during the school year, rather than at the usual transfer time. All SNMAT academies have opted into their respective Local Authorities in Year coordinated schemes. If you are looking to apply in year for a Nottinghamshire School this can be done by visiting: Changing school in-year | Nottinghamshire County Council
Right of Appeal
Under the terms of the School Admissions Appeals Code 2022, if you apply for and are refused a place at Hucknall National Primary School you have the right to appeal.
Admission Appeals at SNMAT academies are managed by Nottinghamshire County Council, who provide an independent appeals process. If you decide that you wish to proceed with an appeal, you should within 20 school days of the date of the refusal letter complete the online form on Nottinghamshire County Council's website:

For parents/carers who are unable to use the online form, a printed form can be found below or you can contact the customer contact centre – 0300 500 80 80.
