The Advocates - Agents of Change

Every class has an elected pupil who is their Advocate. This pupil is nominated to represent the class as their courageous advocate. The role of the Advocate is to attend meetings, bring ideas and feedback to meetings, take actions to their class and to represent their class in worship and events about our work on courageous advocacy.

Plan for this academic year:

Date	Action
January/February	Each class votes for an Advocate to represent their class. Every class learns about and researches a different aspect of the King's Village in Ghana (health, education, community). How will the class become advocates of change? What can be done to change issues they have identified and discussed?
Friday 9th of February	Advocates are presented with their badges in FAB worship. Advocates present the issues and ideas from their class.
20th March	Feedback and update from the Advocates on how their project and ideas are progressing in worship.
March/April/May	Raise awareness in the local community of ideas and projects in school. How can we let parents know? Can we raise awareness in the church community and local community through local press or community hubs?
Friday 7th of June	Non-uniform day to raise awareness of our work with the King's village.
